Atlas Copco offers a complete range of refrigerant compressed air dryers designed to protect your compressed air system and eliminate issues like corrosion, air leaks, and product spoilage. Our dryers ensure consistent performance with energy-saving design and minimal maintenance requirements.
How It Works
Refrigerant compressed air dryers operate by cooling compressed air, causing moisture to condense and be removed from the system. The main steps include:
- Heat Exchangers: Lower incoming air temperature to trigger moisture condensation.
- Water Separator: Collects and drains the condensed moisture efficiently.
- Reheating: Returns the dry air to room temperature to prevent condensation on external piping.
This reduces relative humidity to below 50%, protecting downstream equipment and product integrity. Available in both air-cooled and water-cooled variants.
